COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Several current and former Sun Devils find their name in the top-10 of USA Wrestling's rankings of Olympic hopefuls by weight class including Zahid Valencia and Tanner Hall (freestyle) and ASU alums Kevin Radford (Greco-Roman), and Kelsey Campbell (Women's Freestyle).

In 2017, Valencia and Hall became the 113th and 114th All-Americans in Sun Devil wrestling history and 14th and 15th third-place finishers, first since Eric Larkin in 2001.

Hall joined a historic list of heavyweight All-Americans that includes Curley Culp, Dan Severn, and Cain Velasquez, and became the first Sun Devil heavyweight All-American since Velasquez in 2005 and 2006.

Valencia became ASU's second all-time All-American at 174 lbs., the highest finisher in the weight class. He was also named Pac-12 Wrestler and Freshman/Newcomer of the Year, first time in conference history both honors have gone to the same student-athlete.

Campbell upset the No. 1 seed in 2016 to earn a repeat U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials championship and earned her third U.S. Senior Nationals title in December. Radford also earned a U.S. Senior National title at the same event in Las Vegas this winter.

Arian Carpio, also on the list, is currently an ASU student and is the sister of Sun Devil wrestling alum Ares Carpio.

Several other notable Olympic hopefuls (see links above) call Tempe their training home as part of the Regional Olympic Training Center at ASU's Riches Wrestling Complex.
