TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State University's 2017 football schedule features seven home games, including non-conference matchups with San Diego State and New Mexico State, and Pac-12 Conference games against defending league champion Washington, USC, Oregon, Colorado and in-state rival Arizona. Teams on the exceptional 2017 home schedule include the 2016 Pac-12 Champion and College Football Playoff qualifier (Washington), the 2017 Rose Bowl Champion (USC), the 2016 Pac-12 South Champion (Colorado) and the 2016 Mountain West Champion (San Diego State).
ASU's season and home opener with New Mexico State is scheduled for Thursday, August 31 and the remaining 11 games on the slate will be played on Saturdays. The Sun Devils will face six teams ranked in the final 2016 AP Top 25 poll, with four of them visiting Sun Devil Stadium (Washington, USC, Colorado and San Diego State). ASU's bye date is in the sixth week (10/7), after five games. ASU concludes the 2017 regular-season at Sun Devil Stadium/Frank Kush Field on Saturday, November 25 with the Territorial Cup matchup with Arizona.
"We're enthusiastic about our 2017 schedule as we have the opportunity to play seven home games against great competition with a well-placed bye week built in," Head Coach Todd Graham says. "And as it is each season, our conference slate is very challenging and provides our fans a great group of home games to fill Sun Devil Stadium."
Three of ASU's first four games, and six of its first nine, will be played at home, with the team's first road trip coming on Sept. 16 against Texas Tech in Lubbock. ASU opens the conference portion of the schedule at home against Oregon on Saturday, September 23 and ends the campaign with the annual Territorial Cup game with Arizona on Saturday, November 25 at Sun Devil Stadium/Frank Kush Field.

Stanford (Sept. 30) and Oregon State (Nov. 18) are back on the Sun Devil Football schedule after being absent for two years. Both are road games. The 2017 Sun Devil Football schedule is on the cycle of having five Pac-12 home games and four conference road games. Every Pac-12 team has two "misses" each year, or teams they do not face. ASU's misses in 2017 and 2018 are California and Washington State.
The Pac-12 Championship game will be played on either Friday, Dec. 1 or Saturday, December 2 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
For the sixth year in a row, fans all across the country will be able to watch every football game played at Pac-12 sites. A combination of the ESPN channels, ABC, FOX and FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 44 games nationally and Pac-12 Networks will offer 35 games to a national audience.
