SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The Arizona State women’s gymnastics team placed five gymnasts on the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, the conference announced today. ASU’s five athletes on the list was the fifth-highest total in the conference.
Juniors Allie Salas and Carissa Kraus were named All-Pac-12 second team honorees and lead the list of All-American selections for Arizona State. Salas holds a 3.50 GPA in biochemistry and plans to pursue dental school. Kraus, majoring in marketing, holds a 3.48 GPA in the WP Carey School of Business.
Also earning All-Pac-12 Academic Honorable Mention accolades are sophomore psychology major Savannah Borman, junior business communications major Stephanie Miceli and senior health sciences major Natasha Sundby.
First-time honoree Borman joins second-time Pac-12 Academic honorees of Salas, Kraus, Miceli and Sundby.
