Football's Kelly To Appear On New Pac-12 Network Show

TEMPE, Ariz.—Pac-12 Conference South Champion and Arizona State University senior quarterback Taylor Kelly takes the hot seat with Pac-12 Networks’ Rick Neuheisel in his new series Under Center on April 23 at 8:00 p.m.  In the episode, Neuheisel will break down what it takes to excel at the most important position on the field, while showcasing Kelly’s intangibles and leadership traits.

Kelly, who led the Sun Devils to the Pac-12 Championship game last season, is just the second Sun Devil quarterback to have thrown for more than 3,000 yards in consecutive seasons in school history.  The Eagle, Idaho product set a school record for completion percentage (67.1 percent) and moved into the top five in seven ASU-record lists, including passing yards, passing yards per game, completions, attempts, total offense, yards per game and points responsible for.  With these stats and accolades, Kelly and Neuheisel will have plenty to talk about.

Neuheisel brings an extensive knowledge of Pac-12 football to the Networks as a former head coach for Colorado (1995-98), Washington (1999-2002), and UCLA (2008-11), and a former quarterback for the Bruins.  He also holds coaching experience at the professional level, spending two years with the Baltimore Ravens as a quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator.  Neuheisel recently earned a Sports Emmy nomination for his trademark analysis on Pac-12 Networks.

Under Center with Rick Neuheisel debuts on April 16 at 8:00 p.m. when it showcases Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion.   The Under Center series will consist of five shows, featuring a different Pac-12 quarterback in each episode.
