ASU's Bradshaw Coached by Olympian Father - Jeff Metcalfe (Arizona Republic, Jun. 15)
SEATTLE, Wash.--Arizona State diver Cameron Bradshaw, a 2012 graduate with a BIS in Business and Kinesiology, will compete in the United States Olympic Diving Trials on the 3-meter springboard, Wednesday, in Seattle, Wash.Bradshaw qualified for the US Olympic diving trials with his 12th-place finish at the 2011 USA Diving Winter Nationals.
Although he began diving competitively at the age of 17, Bradshaw excelled at Arizona State finishing third in the nation on the men's 1-meter springboard at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Bradshaw also took the silver medal in the event at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships.
The men's 3-meter springboard preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday with the finals starting at 7 p.m.
Cameron Bradshaw is the son of head diving coach Mark Bradshaw, an Olympic athlete in his own right making the finals in diving for the United States in the Seoul Olympics in 1988.
