LAST TIME VS. THE TIGERS
On Friday of the two-game series earlier this season, the Arizona State hockey team put up a huge comeback after being down 2-0 at the end of the opening frame thanks to goals from Ryan Alexander, Dylan Jackson, and Noah Beck to take the 3-2 lead. Just as victory lay 57 seconds away, the No. 8 Colorado College Tigers (7-0-0, 1-0-0) tied the score, 3-3, to push the game to overtime. The Sun Devils conceded the overtime victory to suffer a 4-3 loss. Despite the overtime loss, the Sun Devils still secured one point in the conference standings. Ryan Alexander's goal was also the first scored by an ASU skater in NCHC play in program history.

On Saturday night, ASU put up a higher-volume offensive effort but ultimately dropped game two, 3-1. Arizona native David Hymovitch scored his first collegiate goal to protect ASU from the road shutout. ASU outshot CC, 41-21, through three periods, but couldn't sneak enough past CC's netminder who made a season-high 40 saves.
