TEMPE, Ariz. – The College Triathlon Coaches Association announces their first-ever Coach of the Year Award, given to Arizona State women's triathlon's Cliff English.
The association also announced academic awards and the Sun Devils led all collegiate teams with eight honorees.
Charlotte Ahrens, Delaney Bucker, Hannah Henry, Rebecca Naughton, and Kyla Roy earned CTCA First Team honors while Catherine Giuseffi, Katie Gorczyca, and Lillie Robinson were named Honorable Mention.
CTCA Academic All-American honors were given to those who competed in the College Varsity Triathlon National Championship and had a fall GPA of 3.5 or greater while the Honorable Mention was given to those who achieved the same GPA and competed in at least one regional championship.
The Sun Devils won their second consecutive national championship in 2017 and look to record a threepeat in 2018.
