2001 Outdoor: Sat out most of the season due to injury, but did compete twice in the 400m.

2001 Indoor: Placed sixth in the 400m at the UA/NAU Double Dual with a season-best time of 48.37… also placed fifth in the 400m at the Flagstaff Invitational (49.06).

Georgia Tech: Played cornerback on the football team for coach George O’Leary at Georgia Tech in ’99.

High School: 1997 graduate of Horizon High School in Scottsdale…earned four letters in football, and three in track and basketball…all-city and all-conference selection as a wide receiver…tallied 39 receptions for 769 yards and 10 touchdowns in prep career.

Personal: Majoring in BIS…parents are Al and Dalia Motiejunas… has two brothers, Jonas (27) and Tomas (27), both members of the two-time national champion 400m relay team at Georgia Tech…Jonas competed in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney for Lithuania…born July 1, 1979, in Cleveland, Ohio…full name is Algis Paul Motiejunas.
