TEMPE, Ariz. – Eleven Arizona State University women's soccer student-athletes were recognized by the Pac-12 for their work in the classroom as the conference announced its annual All-Academic teams on Wednesday.

Headlining ASU's 11 honorees is senior defenderÂ
Madison Stark (4.00 GPA – Journalism and Mass Communication) and senior forwardÂ
Jessica Raybe (3.94 GPA Nutrition & Health Living minor /Exercise & Wellness) who earned first-team recognition. For Stark, Wednesday's honor marked her third consecutive First-Team All-Academic honor.Â

Natalie Stephens (3.85 GPA – Supply Chain Management) earned second-team recognition.Â

Since 2007 the Sun Devil soccer program leads the conference in the number of first-team awards (28) and the number of first- and second-team awards (45).Â

The Sun Devils also had eight players earn honorable mention recognition: seniors
Taylor Coon and
Madison Kmetko both earned their third Pac-12 academic honor with Wednesday's honorable mention nod, while
Melinda Gutierrez,Â
Adriana Orozco and Â
Kylie Miniefield claimed their second-straight honorable mention honor. Rounding out ASU's honorees were
Christina Edwards,
Madison Wolf and
Hailey Zerbel.

The Sun Devils set a single-season record with 15 players named to the 2015 Pac-12 All-Academic Teams, followed by a 13-player honor list in 2016. With the 11 players earning the honor this season, ASU has now had 10 players earn conference academic recognition each of the last 11 seasons.

To be eligible for selection to the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, must have been at the school at least one year and be either a starter or significant contributor to the team (defined as participating in at least 50 percent of a team's games).
