Tra Holder is off to a great start, and on Monday (Nov. 20) he earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors.
Some numbers to know about Tra entering the Continental Tire Invitational matchup Thursday against Kansas State at 4:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. MT on FS1.
1: It was the first Sun Devil Pac-12 Player of the Week award since March 9, 2015, when Shaq McKissic earned the honor in the final weekend of the regular season.
3: ASU's had three victories last week over San Diego State (90-68), Northern Arizona (97-62) and UC Irvine (99-78).
4: Holder has helped guide ASU to its first 4-0 start since 2013-14, which was the most recent season the Sun Devils reached the NCAA Tournament.Â

SOLID SIX DAYS: How good of a week did Tra Holder have? In three wins where ASU averaged 95.3 points, Tra Holder averaged 35.7 minutes, 23.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists. He shot .548 (23-of-42) from the field, .571 (12-of-21) from three and .813 (13-of-16) from the free throw line. He put the exclamation point on it on Nov. 19 with a career-high 35 points on 13-of-15 shooting in the win over UC Irvine. He moved past the 1,000-point mark at UCLA on Jan. 19, 2017, as he is the 36th
member of the Sun Devil 1,000-point club. He also gets to the free throw line as he is 391-of-526 (.732) from the charity stripe in his 101 games/92 starts, and both marks are second in ASU history behind only Ike Diogu
