HAMDEN, Conn. – After a weekend sweep at home, the men's hockey team hits the road to face No. 17 Quinnipiac at High Point Solutions Arena. The match-up becomes the 11th opponent ranked within the top-25 the Devils have faced this season.

The trip to Hamden becomes the second in two seasons, as the Sun Devils (9-17-2) suffered a 5-0 loss to the eventual NCAA runners-up in October of 2015.

"We've had a nice stretch over the last three games, but this weekend is a crucial part to our plan of being above .500 in this final stretch of the season," said head coach Greg Powers. "Quinnipiac is another prestigious program and should be another great test for us."

The Devils are coming off back-to-back victories for the first time this season, which doesn't include a shootout victory over then-No. 10 Ohio State that was ruled a tie.

On the other side, Quinnipiac (13-10-2) has lost seven of their last 11 and three of their last five. It'll be 13 days since the Bobcats last took the ice in a 2-1 loss to Cornell at home on Jan. 14.

Quinnipiac is led offensively by sophomore forward Craig Martin with eight goals and 10 assists. Senior forward Tim Clifton paces the team in goals scored with 10 – the only Bobcat with double digit goals.

For the Devils, 18 of the 22 skaters that saw the ice over the weekend made the score-sheet with at least a goal or an assist. Nine different players tallied one of the 15 goals in the two-game series.

Sophomore forward Anthony Croston paced the team with four goals and an assist in the two games, including his first collegiate hat trick on Friday. The assistant captain netted all three in the first 14 minutes as well.

Standing tall as of late is senior netminder Robert Levin, who picked up back-to-back victories over the weekend following his stellar performance against the Buckeyes on Jan. 14. Over his last three starts, he holds a .944 save percentage and 0.98 goals against average.

Since the 5-2 loss to Harvard on Jan. 6, freshman Andrew Shortridge has been the go-to starter for the Bobcats over the last three games. During that stretch, the rookie hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game.

On special teams, the scale tilts a little more towards the Bobcats this season. So far, Quinnipiac ranks 25th on the penalty kill versus ASU's 55th ranking. The power play for the Bobcats ranks 33rd (17.8%), while ASU sits in 51st (13.6%).

Friday and Saturday's puck drop is set for 7 p.m. EST/5 p.m. MST. You can watch here via Quinnipiac.
