TEMPE – Sun Devil Baseball has released its tentative 2017 schedule, as announced by Head Coach
Tracy Smith, featuring 33 home games, seven 2016 NCAA Tournament teams and three squads that advanced to the College World Series last season.

The 2017 schedule currently features 33 games set to be played at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, including a 12-game home stretch from Feb. 29-March 19 and 16 of the first 19 games scheduled at home. Â The schedule is currently
tentative and may be subject to change based upon the Pac-12 Network television selections set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Sun Devils will open the season with a three-game series against Northwestern beginning Friday, Feb. 17 followed by a midweek contest against 2016 College World Series participant Oklahoma State on Feb. 21.

The Sun Devils go on the road to take on their 2016 Regional opponent and eventual 2016 College World Series participant, Texas Christian University, in a three-game series (Feb. 24-26) and then return to the desert to begin their home stretch with New Mexico State on Feb. 28.

ASU continues the 12-game stretch with a three-game series against Loyola Marymount March 3-5, followed by a two-game midweek series against Cal State Fullerton (March 7-8). Long Beach State makes an appearance at Phoenix Muni (March 10-12) to close out the 2017 non-conference schedule.

The remainder of ASU's non-conference schedule includes three games at home against CSU Bakersfield (April 21-23) and three games against UNLV, with contests March 28 and April 11 being played at Phoenix Muni and followed by an April 18 tilt in Las Vegas.

The Devils begin Pac-12 play (March 17-19) against the Oregon State Beavers which will conclude the home stretch for the Devils as they then take the road to face USC in Southern California (March 24-26).

ASU returns to Phoenix Muni to host a three-game series versus UCLA (March 31-April 2). ASU will travel to Berkeley (April7-9) to play Cal at Evans Diamond, followed by a home series against Washington State (April 13-15).

The Devils go to Eugene to face Oregon (April 28-30) and then host Stanford the following weekend (May 5-7).

ASU will travel to Seattle (May 12-14) to play the Washington Huskies at Husky Ballpark and while in Washington, the Devils will play a midweek contest against Seattle (May 16).

The annual five-game Territorial Cup series with Arizona begins April 4 and May 9 with two Tuesday night games in Tucson, and then the Devils host a three-game set at Phoenix Muni (May 19-21).

ASU closes out the season by traveling to Salt Lake City to play the final Pac-12 series versus Utah (May 26-28).
