REDSHIRT GRADUATE (2022-23):
SOPHOMORE (2018-19 at Boston College):
• Skated in 37 games with seven points on three goals and four assists
• Netted two of his three goals in the postseason and three of his four assists in league play
• Scored at Providence and was +2 in Game 1 of the Hockey East Quarterfinals (March 15)
• Converted a key insurance goal against UMass in the third period of the Hockey East Semifinal (March 22)
FRESHMAN (2017-18 at Boston College):
• One of seven players to skate in all 37 games, finishing with 18 points on six goals and 12 assists
• Led the team with three game-winning goals and tied for the team lead with a pair of shorthanded goals (both were game-winning goals)
• Finished fourth on the club with a +9 rating and sixth on the team with four multi-point performances
• Was the first Eagle to score in back-to-back games and blasted four total shots on net at Providence (Oct. 15)
• Scored his first career game-winning goal midway through the first period at Merrimack (Nov. 4)
• Recorded his first career multi-point performance with a pair of assists in a 4-3 win at Vermont (Nov. 10)
• Named Hockey East Player of the Week after a five-point weekend, including the game-winning shorthanded goal at Vermont (Nov. 11)
• Ended a 23-game goal scoring drought with the overtime shorthanded goal to clinch the Hockey East Quarterfinals over Merrimack (March 10)
Junior Hockey (Green Bay, USHL):
• Played for the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL from 2015-17
• Logged 33 points – nine goals and 17 assists – in 60 games during the 2016-17 campaign
• In the 2015-16 season, accounted for 21 points – 13 goals and eight assists – in 55 outings
• Skated with the North Jersey Avalanche U18 in 2014-15, scoring 25 points in 18 games played
• Won a New Jersey state championship and an AYHL title as the club finished as U.S. National silver medalists
• Played with the Long Island Gulls organization from 2012-14
• Attended Islip High School in in Islip, New York and Ashwaubenon High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Personal:
• Chris and his sister Madison are the children of Chris and Michele Grando
• Father won a Division II ECAC Championship in basketball at Dowling College

- Scored his first short-handed goal of the season against then-ranked No. 17 Minnesota State on Jan. 13.
- Totaled six goals and eight assists in 30 games played
- Had two multi-point games on Jan. 2 vs No. 9 Cornell (two assists) and on Mar. 12 vs Long Island (one goal and one assist)
- Led the seniors in goals scored with six
- Had the game winning goal at No. 11 Northeastern on Jan. 11
- Finished his first season in the Maroon & Gold tied for 3rd in points with six goals and eight assists
- Recorded three multi-point games during the season
- Tied his collegiate best for goals in a season with six
- Scored his first goal as a Sun Devil against Michigan State on Nov. 19 with four minutes remaining to force overtime
