Sophomore (2020)

• Contributed in many ways during a breakout sophomore season in which he played in all four games
• Was the eighth-highest graded receiver in the Pac-12 in 2020 with a score of 71.5 from PFF
• Caught six passes for 86 yards and a touchdown
• Also completed a 51-yard pass against UCLA
• Ran for 29 yards on his only carry against Oregon State, showing off his versatility

OVERVIEW

• One of 21 true freshmen to appear for the Sun Devils on the year and one of 32 freshmen overall (true and redshirt) - a total that was good for third in the nation in 2019
• Showed off his big play prowess in averaging 18.3 yards per catch on the season, finishing with seven catches for 128 yards despite being just a true freshman in a loaded wide receiving corps
• Also had one kick return for 28 yards and appeared on 157 special teams snaps – the ninth most among freshmen in the Pac-12

HIGH SCHOOL

• Can take over a game at the receiver position as shown when he set the Arizona High School 6A receiving yard record as a junior with 342 yards against Gilbert High.
• Posted a Nike Football Plus rating of 113.43 at The Opening Regionals, 16th among all wide receivers tested nationally.
• Consensus three-star prospect amongst major recruiting services…ESPN lists him as the No. 106 wide receiver prospect nationally and the No. 15 overall prospect from the state of Arizona…ranked as the No. 147 wide receiver prospect in the country and the No. 23 overall prospect in the state according to 24/7 Sports Composite Rankings.
• Three-year member of the varsity squad at Corona Del Sol High School and tremendously versatile athlete that posted back-to-back 1,000+ all-purpose yardage seasons.
• 2018 Arizona Football Coaches Association All-6A First Team selection at wide receiver after posting one of the state’s best all-around seasons.
• Made 65 catches going for 815 yards and four touchdowns, collecting five 100+ yard receiving performances during an outstanding senior season and added four rushing touchdowns, receiving direct snaps out of a “wildcat” formation.
• Dangerous return threat, finishing the season with two kick-off returns for a touchdown (98 & 99 yards) and 762 total kick return yards.
• Broke onto the Arizona High School scene with a productive junior campaign in which he caught 74 passes for 1,153 yards and 13 touchdowns and averaged 115.3 receiving yards per game, including a 95-yard touchdown catch.
• Picked off four passes during his varsity career while serving in a ball-hawking safety role.
• Aztec fans caught a glimpse of the future receiving star when he posted 390 yards on 29 catches as a sophomore on varsity.
