Senior (2019):
- McCarty played and started every game for ASU in left field, her third-consecutive season to play in 50 or more games for ASU.
- The speedy outfielder posted a career high 50 runs scored, more than doubling her previous high of 23 runs from the 2017 season.
- Carded an impressive 56 hits on the season, topping her previous high of 53 hits in the 2017 season.
- Launched six home runs en route to 17 extra-base hits, also a career high.
- Finished fourth on the team with a .331 batting average, her third-straight season to hit at or above .300 in a season.
- Had four games with three-hits, helping the senior finish the season with 14 multi-hit outings oin her senior campaign.
Junior (2018):
- Posted a career high 11 extra base hits which is eight more than her three she hit in her freshman and sophomore campaign.
- The junior outfielder recorded a season high four RBI game coming way on her first career grand slam in the final game against Cal (3/25).
- The Peoria native saw her first career home run come against Minnesota on March 11, while going on to finish the season with three home runs.
- On April 22nd against Arizona, McCarty registered a season high of five putouts.
- Finished 2018 with a career-high .474 slugging percentage.
- During postseason play, McCarty boasted an impressive .444 batting average in the seven games she played.
- She filed her first career triple in a win against South Dakota, also totaling a double and her first stolen base of the season.
SOPHOMORE (2017):
- Is one of four players that started in all 53 games ASU has played this season
- Tied for first on the team for most hits in 2017 with 53
- Hit a triple on Feb. 10 against Purdue
- Set a season-high of three hits against Nebraska on March 12
- Boasted a 12 game hit streak, tied for the longest such streak for ASU in 2017
FRESHMAN (2016):
- Made two starts at the Littlewood Classic, finishing the weekend 1-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and a hit by pitch.
- Saw action in three games in opening weekend, getting a walk and a hit in the process.
HIGH SCHOOL
- The senior out of Centennial High School in Peoria, Ariz., was one of the elite hitters in the prep ranks in the state and a local product that can make an immediate impact in the Sun Devil lineup.
- McCarty had a career .545 average for the Coyotes, responsible for 162 career runs and 136 RBI and a .599 career on-base percentage.
- In McCarty's senior year she had a .536 batting average, hit 41 runs, a 23 RBI, 9 doubles, 7 triples and 2 home runs.
- Potentially the best all-around player in the state, McCarty was named to Full Count Softball’s Hot 100 for the 2015 signing class. McCarty has a lot of speed and is a threat on the base path as demonstrated by her 23 career stolen bases, 14 career triples and 35 career doubles. The speed also makes her an asset in the outfield, giving her a chance to make a lot of plays once she gets a beat on the ball.
- McCarty is a three-time AIA 1st Team All-Section and All-Division selection and earned All-Arizona honors as a sophomore. She was named a MaxPreps 2012 underclassman All-American in 2012 and to the Best of the West Top 100 Prep Play list in 2013 – the same year she notched her All-State selection.
- McCarty played for Coach Mike Repak at Centennial and for Bill Conroy for her club squad, the Beverly Bandits. She has appeared at the 18U Premier Nationals every years from 2011-14 with her club teams.
Personal
McCarty is the daughter of Robert and JoAnne McCarty and has a younger brother, Hunter. As an avid member of the community, McCarty volunteers at numerous fundraisers and awareness events and notes that her life goals include having a “healthy family, a successful career and giving back to the community as much as I can.” One of McCarty's favorite hobbies is playing with her turtles.
