TEMPE – Coming off winning their inaugural Big 12 series, Sun Devil Softball will head to Florida for the team's first journey outside the state of Arizona this season. The five-game trip begins in DeLand, Fla., on Wednesday with a doubleheader against Stetson.

Wednesday will mark the first time ASU and Stetson will meet since 1987. That game saw the Sun Devils claim a 1-0 win over the Hatters in Tampa, Fla.

The Sun Devils will take a 17-7 record into Wednesday's action after the team took two of three from BYU last weekend to begin conference play. ASU is 0-1 on the road this season and they have dropped eight straight road contests dating back to last season.

At the plate, the Sun Devils are 37th in the NCAA with a .327 batting average. They hold a .933 OPS while scoring 5.63 runs per game. The team ranks 27th in the country by hitting 1.25 home runs per game and they have homered in six straight outings.

Kelsey Hall leads the team with a 1.255 OPS, seven home runs, and 25 RBIs. Tanya Windle adds a 1.021 OPS with eight doubles.

ASU pitchers take to the road with a 3.04 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. The staff leads the Big 12 and is 16th in the nation by recording 7.38 strikeouts per seven innings.

Kenzie Brown is tops in the Big 12 by allowing 3.58 hits and recording 11.9 strikeouts per seven innings. She also ranks in the top five in wins, ERA, strikeouts, and WHIP.
