TEMPE – Sun Devil Softball will play its first road game of the season on Tuesday when they make the short trip to GCU to face the Lopes. First pitch from the GCU Softball Stadium is slated for 7 p.m.
Tuesday's matchup is the first of two with GCU this season. The teams will meet at Farrington Stadium on April 15. ASU has split its four previous meetings with the Lopes, and GCU won the only previous meeting in their home stadium, 5-4 last April.
The Sun Devils enter the game with a 7-3 record after going 4-2 during last weekend's Littlewood Classic. Four of the team's seven wins have come against teams like GCU, which played in last season's NCAA Softball Tournament.
This game is the only road game for the Sun Devils during their first 25 games of the season.
