Eugene, OregonSenior Patricija Spaka remained unbeaten this season moving to 5-0 in singles and doubles. She clinched the win for the Sun Devils in the team's 4-1 win over Oregon Friday afternoon in Eugene. Arizona State Women's Tennis (4-2, 0-0 Big 12) will now focus their attention to former Pac-12 foe Washington on Sunday which begins at 12 p.m. MST. 

The team swept singles with straight-set victories by Emilija Tverionajite, Sara Svetac, Karin Altori and Spaka.

The team was unable to win the doubles point for the first time this season however it stormed back winning four matches in singles play to their second straight win. Doubles pair Spaka and Lily Taylor won their fifth match on the year, staying unbeaten.

Emilija Tverijonaite won her second straight match, dropping only two games. Sara Svetac won her second-straight match handily and her four win in straight sets. 

Freshman Karin Altori battled and came out on top winning her fourth match of the season as Spaka clinched the match in straight sets, and won an opening set tiebreaker, winning the last three points to win the first set. It's her fourth straight sets win of the season.

Arizona State vs. Oregon
Spaka and Taylor remained unbeaten in doubles with a 6-3 win which moved the pair to 5-0 this year. The duo got out to an early 3-0 lead, and never looked back winning the set. Nupbay and Tverijonaite attempted to rally from three games down but couldn't mount a comeback falling 3-6. Altori and Svetac also got down early and could not find a rhythm which gave Oregon the doubles point.

Singles Results
After dropping the first two games, Tverijonaite responded by winning the next four and running away with the first set, winning 6-2. She maintained her momentum from the first set and won her match 6-2, 6-2. Karin Altori helped the Sun Devils get their second point of the match with a straight sets win, 6-4, 6-4. 

Svetac quickly won the first set in her match, then battled in the second set winning 7-5 for her fourth win of the year which brought the Sun Devils closer with a 3-1 lead. Spaka had a back-and-fourth opening set and battled in the tiebreaker. She would win the final three points to take the opening set, 7-6. (7-4). She then made quick work in the second set to secure the win, 6-2 to move to 5-0 on the year in singles. 

Lily Taylor had just forced a third set after winning the second set, and Karsyn Evans was on her way to winning her match as the match was called, being up 3-1 in the third set.
