SAN FRANCISCO – The Arizona State lacrosse team placed a program record five student-athletes on the first ever Pac-12 All-Academic teams, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Redshirt junior Sydney Bosmans garnered the highest honor for the Sun Devils as a second-team member. Bosmans recently was part of the 91 Sun Devil student-athletes who graduated this spring as she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies (Business/Communications). She will return to the Sun Devil Lacrosse line-up for her fifth year next fall.
Rounding out the list for the Sun Devils is four honorable mentions in Carley Adams, Berkeley Bonneau, Kerri Clayton and Kristina Coppinger
All five Sun Devils collected these academic honors for the first time in their careers.
To be eligible for selection to an All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and must have participated in at least fifty percent of games this regular season. First year student-athletes are not eligible for Pac-12 All-Academic Teams.
