The Arizona State lacrosse team (6-11, 1-9 Pac-12) heads to the mountains this week for the inaugural Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament hosted by Colorado. The No. 6 seed Sun Devils will rematch the No. 20 USC Trojans, who picked up the No. 3 seed in the conference, for the third time this season on Thursday, April 26 at Prentup Field in Boulder. First draw is slated for 3 p.m. PT/4 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcasted live via the Pac-12 Network with Jason Knapp and Kara Lentz on the call. The winner of the quarterfinal game will move on to play No. 2 seed Stanford on Friday at 3 p.m. PT/4 p.m. MT. 

QUICK STICKS 

  • The Sun Devil goalkeepers lead the conference in saves with 171 heading into the post-season. Sophomore goalkeeper Berkeley Bonneau sits at 31st in the nation for total saves through the end of the regular season with 142. 
  • Clayton is fifth in the conference in goals and is fifth in points with 57 (42 goals, 15 assists). 
  • All 34 eligible players have seen playing time this season. 
  • The Sun Devils led the conference in average attendance at home games with 361 fans per game in their inaugural season. 

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION 
USC: The Sun Devils will face the Trojans for the third time this season. The Trojans won both games prior this season, including last weekend, 19-2, in the regular season finale. Kelsey Huff and Kerrigan Miller each had hat tricks and two assists for the Trojans while five other players had multi-goal games. The Trojans head into the conference tournament leading the Pac-12 in fewest turnovers/game, goals against average and caused turnovers/game. Senior goalkeeper Gussie Johns leads the conference in ground balls/game with 4.75 and a season total 76. Sophomore midfielder Kerrigan Miller leads the causted turnovers/game category with 2.31 and a season total 37. 

LAST TIME OUT 
The Sun Devils fell to the then-No. 21 USC Trojans last week in the regular season finale, 19-2. Junior co-captain Kerri Clayton scored both Arizona State goals, one in each half of the contest. Freshman Kate Dougherty rounded out the Sun Devil offense by recording an assist on Clayton's first goal. In the cage, sophomore goalkeeper Berkeley Bonneau made 10 saves before handing it off to freshman Sophia Thomas early in the second half. The Sun Devils picked up 11 ground balls as a team, led by Bonneau with two. 

INAUGURAL PAC-12 WOMEN'S LACROSSE TOURNAMENT 
Colorado hosts the inaugural Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament at Prentup Field in Boulder. Competition begins on Thursday with No. 4 Oregon meeting No. 5 California at 12 p.m. PT/1 p.m. MT, and No. 3 USC playing No. 6 Arizona State at 3 p.m. PT/4 p.m. MT in the first round. The winner of the No. 4 Oregon/No. 5 California plays No. 1 Colorado at 12 p.m. PT/1 p.m. MT and the winner of No. 3 USC/No. 6 Arizona State meets No. 2 Stanford 3 p.m. PT/4 p.m. MT in the semifinals on Friday, April 27. The semifinal winners play for the tournament championship on Sunday, April 29 at 11 a.m. PT/12 p.m.
