The Sun Devil men's golf team, ranked No. 21 in the country and coming off a first place finish its last time out, will head to San Francisco this week from March 29-31 to play in the 49th edition of The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford University. They will be playing at TPC Harding Park (par-72/7,169 yards), a course that has most recently hosted the WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship in 2015.

TEE TIMES FOR THE GOODWIN:
7:30 - 2:34 PM start Thursday (tee times off #1/#10)
7:30 – 2:34 PM on Friday
7:30 – 2:34 PM on Saturday

The field will consist of seven teams that are ranked in the top 30 of the college golf rankings. The Sun Devils will be one of eight Pac-12 teams participating in the tournament.

THE FIELD (BUSHNELL COACHES POLL RANKINGS): Abeline Christian, Arizona State (21), BYU, Cal (9), Cal Poly, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Northwestern, Oklahoma (7), Oregon, Oregon State, San Francisco, San Jose State, SMU, Sonoma State, Stanford (16), St. Mary's, UC Davis, USC (17), UNLV (25), Utah, Washington, Wyoming.

LAST TIME OUT: When the Sun Devil's men's golf team last hit the course in Oregon they came away victorious at the Bandon Dunes Championship. The team impressively finished with a three-round total of 824/-28, topping second-place Clemson by 13 strokes. Sophomore Chun An Yu continued his hot spring and led his team with a first-place finish of his own. Yu finished the tournament with a final of 13-under par, he did this by firing three straight rounds in the 60s (65-68-67).  His fellow sophomore teammate Alex del Rey also finished in the top-10 with his three-round total of 209/-4. Freshman Koichiro Ishika finished 2-under which game him a T-13 finish. Freshman Mason Anderson was also a big contributor, because despite struggling in the first round he turned it around with a pair of 68s to finish off the tournament. This all gave the team their second win of the season and their first of the spring.
