The Devils opened the cold Columbus morning with the preliminary round of the 200 Free Relay. The squad of Katherine Wagner, Claire Fisch, Fanny Teijonsalo and Camryn Curry flashed moments of brightness, but ultimately placed 24 in the event.

Moving on to their next event, Chloe Isleta and Marlies Ross both participated in the preliminary rounds of the 200 IM. Both finished within a few places of each other, with Isleta finishing 45 and Ross 53.

Three sophomores and a junior teamed up to form the relay team in ASU's last swim event on the afternoon in the 400 Medley Relay. Isleta, Silja Kansakoski, Teijonsalo and Fisch made the quartet, which placed 23.

On the diving board, ASU sent two divers to compete in the 1M. Both Ashley McCool and Frida Kaellgren were competitive early on, with Kaellgren in 10th place and McCool in 15th place halfway through the meet. Kaellgren went on to place fourth, allowing her to continue on to the final rounds later on in the evening. McCool finished 26 in the event.
