TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State University women's basketball team (21-12, 10-8 Pac-12/sixth place) earned a No. 7 seed in the Kansas City Regional and will open up NCAA Tournament play against the No. 10 seed Nebraska (21-10, 11-5 Big Ten) on Saturday, March 17 at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT at Frank Irwin Center in Austin, Texas. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
The winner of the ASU-Nebraska game will play the winner of the matchup between No. 2 seed Texas and No. 15 seed Maine on Monday, March 19 for the right to advance to the Sweet 16.
Sun Devil fans will have an opportunity to purchase first and second round tickets beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13 via their Ticketmaster online account manager. Seating locations will be allocated based on priority points. Your card will ONLY be charged for round two upon ASU advancing past the first round.

The Sun Devils have advanced as far as the Elite Eight on two occasions (2007 and 2009). In that game ASU overcame a 13-point, first-half deficit. In the Sweet 16 against North Carolina, ASU led by as many as 10 points and was within two points, 62-60, with 9:29 remaining before the Tar Heels closed out the game with a 17-12 run.
