@ASUSwimDive to Host Arizona on Senior Day Saturday@ASUSwimDive to Host Arizona on Senior Day Saturday
TEMPE, Ariz. – After a year of historic upsets and even more school records and top times, the No. 7/RV Sun Devil men's and women's swimming & diving teams play host to No. 18/22 Arizona on Senior Day, Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 pm MT.

Saturday's contest will not determine the Territorial Cup® series points as that will be determined at Pac-12 Championships later in February and early March.

MOVIN' ON UP

In the Jan. 31 edition of the CSCAA poll, the Sun Devil men moved up three spots in the rankings to No. 7 after upsetting then-No. 2 and three-time defending national champion Texas last weekend at home.

The ASU women have continued to receive votes after being ranked No. 24 earlier in the season.

RECENT HISTORY

The rivalry has been renewed, especially on the men's side, and Saturday's contest will prove exciting based on recent meetings.

In 2016, a record crowd filled Mona Plummer for the annual ASU vs. U of A meet and Sun Devil fans received an exciting show as the ASU men beat Arizona for the first time in 14 years, 168-132. Last season in Tucson, the two men's teams tied, 147-147.

HOW TO WATCH

The meet will be live streamed for free via Arizona State's Pac-12 Plus live stream: http://pac-12.com/live/arizona-state-university.

AS WE GO ON, WE REMEMBER

Eight Sun Devils will swim/dive the last home meet of their collegiate careers on Saturday and will be honored around 12:30 pm prior to the contest.

Patrick Park (MSWIM), Rebecca Deacon (WDIVE), Ivana Ninkovic (WSWIM), Christian Lorenz (MSWIM), Mara Aiacoboae (WDIVE), Andrew Porter (MSWIM), Heikki Makikallio (MDIVE), and Reid Elliott (MSWIM) will be honored.

PAC-12 ACCOLADES

Over the past two weeks, Arizona State swim/dive has received back-to-back Pac-12 honors for the newly reformatted Pac-12 Swimmer/Diver of the Week award.

The award, previously a monthly award, was changed to weekly in spring 2018 to further recognize the significant accomplishments of the Conference of Champions' swimmers and divers.

On Jan. 24, freshman diver Ashley McCool received the Women's Diving award from the conference for setting a new school record (and Stanford pool record) in the 3-meter dive vs. the Cardinal on Jan. 20 (breaking her own record from the previous day at Cal).

Most recently, on Jan. 31, sophomore swimmer Cameron Craig earned the Men's Swimming accolade for winning three events in the team's upset of then-No. 2 Texas.
